UX / React Developer – Financial Services – £200k+

I’m looking for a Senior UX Developer to work for a Systematic & Quant focused Investment Manager in London

They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience building applications using React within financial services – that is also passionate about good user experience.

The Role:

You’ll be primarily responsible for the design and build of their systematic trading platforms and be the go-to UX/UI resource for one of their largest trading desks in London.

They have a 50/50 hybrid working model and they like to have engineers in a couple of days per week to get face time with the front office traders.

You’ll also be tasked with the following:

 

  • Work closely with traders, researchers and engineering teams to develop the team’s IT Infrastructure
  • Maintain continuity of UX and re-usable code across the business
  • Design and build in-house Risk platforms and production monitoring tools

The Candidate:

 

As mentioned above, you’ll need to be able to produce high quality, complex code using React, whilst keeping a focus on user experience and design.

It would be amazing if you also have:

 

  • Wireframing experience (they use Balsamiq)
  • Experience building APIs
  • The ability to take ownership of projects and lead multi-discipline teams

The Package:

Packages of over £200k dependent on experience.
