This client is a leading Financial Services Organisation. They are looking for Trading Operations Associates who have experience working specifically within the Metals Trading Market to join their high-performing team.

You will focus primarily on providing first-line supervision for all trading activity through aiding in the determination of Futures reference prices. This will also involve participating on the Benchmark Pricing Function in determining Auction Prices as well as Closing Prices for Traded Options and Settlement Prices.

Your Responsibilities:

• Establishing Settlement Prices for Ferrous & Precious Prices as well as Cash Settled Futures.
• Ensuring procedures around Error Trade Policy and Dynamic Price Bands are managed effectively and consistently.
• Implementing procedure for the determination of the Closing Prices for Traded Options.
• Ensuring Benchmark Regulation Compliance as a Benchmark Administrator.
• Carrying out procedure to determine Closing Prices for Traded Options using prism system.
• Providing Market Surveillance.
• Dealing with stakeholder queries and Trading Operations effectively.
• Providing tutorials and education to staff on issues relating to price discovery for Futures and Options.
• Recommending and promoting enhancements to management that will benefit price discovery procedures.

Required Skills:

• Experience working in an Exchange/Trading environment within the Metals Trading Market.
• Functional knowledge and experience in electronic trading.
• Detailed understanding of market terminology, LME rules, and regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of Benchmark Administrator responsibilities.
• Detailed understanding of the dealing regulations.
• Detailed understanding of the forward price curve for each metal.
• Data input skills and IT literacy
