The Role:

As an App Support Engineer, you’ll be primarily responsible for providing Level 2 technical and functional trading support across the full scope of development, contributing to product development and looking for opportunities for automation.

You’ll report to the Head of Development and be required to relocate to the company’s Abu Dhabi office, which will be facilitated for you – we can discuss this in more detail.

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:

• Support Issues raised across the front and back end of development.
• Developing fixes and enhancements.
• Work with Internal teams whilst taking ownership of Issues up to their resolution.
• Oversee the release management process and follow best practices.
• Prioritise, triage and document multiple Issues.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the financial space and strong knowledge of data lineage and configuration capabilities across the business

In addition, it’s essential that you possess the following:

• Strong proficiency In PowerShell and Shell Scripting.
• Applied knowledge of SQL, Linux and Windows server management.
• Advanced understanding and experience with Agile and the DevOps cycle.

It would be highly desirable If you also have:

• Some knowledge in business and experience with front office.
• ITIL v4 Certification or Azure Certification.
• Practical knowledge of Azure and other cloud Infrastructure platform.
