About the IT Solution Architect Role:

 

As an experienced Software/Systems Architect, you will be responsible for creating architecture-compliant solution strategies for demands.

You will be responsible for the maintenance of baseline architecture and target architecture

Working with the Enterprise Architect and working within the company’s IT guidelines, you will develop the target Architecture.

Guiding the application landscape transformation whilst also implementing the development of technical roadmaps, you will move to decommission legacy and more towards the target application portfolio.

You will support in development, analysis and design of technical, application and technology architectures in alignment with the IT architecture principles.

You will review solution concepts to make sure they are aligned with the company’s principles

You will be part of the decision making when it comes to strategic architectural ideas.

Ideal Requirements for this Role:

Experienced Software/Systems Architect from a strong Applications background

SDLC knowledge – coming from a software engineering background would be ideal

TOGAF and Object/Information Modelling knowledge would be ideal

Fluent English

Willingness to travel

Collaborative personality

Good stakeholder management experience

University degree
