About the Contract Logistics – Solution Consultant/Architect Role:

As the Contract Logistics – Solution Consultant/Architect, you will contribute to defining business processes, as well as solution requirements within various areas of the business.

This will mainly be centred around Contract Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

You will be required to provide in depth solution proposals with regard to cost and timelines in response to the IT Demand Manager.

The successful applicant will display wide knowledge and in depth understanding of processes and the IT systems related to Warehousing.

Having a good background in Supply Chain Management is beneficial.

You will report into the Team Lead for the Global IT Demand Portfolio, this person has overall ownership of the business requirement.

Ideal Requirements for this Role:

Contract and tender management experience

Warehouse Management System experience – ideally in: SAP GWS, SAP EWM, Exceed Infor SCE, BlueYonder, JDA or IMI

SDLC experience

Ability to independently and proactively learn new technologies and systems with a focus on their business benefits.

Ability to independently learn new systems and technologies.

Capacity to operate as an IT Solution Designer whilst working closely with the IT Demand Manager in order to create solutions within the confines of cost and timeline.

Cooperation skills – you will be working closely with the Systems Architects to make sure that the IT Solutions are adhering to the gaps identified when defining solutions for IT demands.

The ability to analyse and define operational processes and scenarios, whilst documenting these. This is with the goal of the IT Solutions meeting the requirements to progress through the development life cycle.

Communication skills – with internal stakeholders and colleagues.

Ability to manage projects and other deliverables in accordance with Business IT Standards

Ability to develop standard content and solution management tools.
