Software Engineer (Python/Go) - Green Energy Tech

Location: United Kingdom (Remote)

Salary: £80,000/yr - £120,000/yr

An energy trading business that focuses on economic investment and building technology for renewables is expanding its engineering team.

Their large-scale, distributed systems harness the power of data + analytics to contribute to an ultimate goal of a net carbon-zero world.

Software Engineer Responsibilities

  • Design and build complex, cloud-native distributed energy investment systems
  • Work in a collaborative scale-up environment with an outstanding engineering culture
  • Work closely across the energy trading team, product and engineering

Software Engineer Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Python (any Golang experience is also a bonus)
  • Experience building large-scale distributed systems is ideal
  • Knowledge or interest in energy or commodities trading is a big plus
