Software Engineer (Java) – FinTech Scale-up – £55-65k+

A SaaS scale-up that supplies a suite of financial technology applications that are used by banks, trading firms, and investment managers, are expanding their engineering team.

As a Software Engineer here, you’d work in the design and development of one of their flagship products, a data-driven investment platform.

Software Engineer Responsibilities

• Work in a heavily data-intensive environment to design and build ingestion and transformation systems
• Focus on backend engineering work in a JVM environment
• Work as part of a small, high-performing agile team to ship high-quality features, fast

Software Engineer Requirements

• 1+ year of commercial engineering experience, ideally with Java (or another JVM language – Groovy, Scala, Kotlin etc.)
• Relevant University Degree – CompSci ideally
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL or data-intensive systems is highly beneficial
