Software Engineer (DevX) – Up to £300k – Financial Services – Greenfield Project

One of the UK’s leading Financial Services companies (with circa £50 billion of assets under management currently) is looking to hire a Software Engineer for their DevX team – they have recently launched a massive multi-year greenfield project, and now they must make a couple of important strategic hires before kicking off the next phase.

You will be part of a well-renowned and high-performing team – responsible for the build-out of what they call the ‘platform’.

Tech they use: Python, Rust, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Slang, C++

Ideal experience:

  • Degree from a high-ranking university (ideally CompSci, Physics, Maths, etc.)
  • Strong experience in DevX, build and release or business engineering
  • Excellent coding ability in Python, Rust or C++ ideally (open to other languages also)
  • Some FS experience (fixed income, derivatives) would be ideal but by no means a necessity.

Hybrid working model from their office in central London. Paying up to £300,000 total comp DoE.
