About the Senior Software Engineer – Algorithmics Vacancy:

As a member of one of currently four agile development teams, you will implement sophisticated optimization solutions – from conception to productization

You work closely with the product owner, customers and the experts in your team, determine technical requirements and plan and implement the implementation in the team

You develop backend services and integrations on a modern cloud-based development infrastructure

This vacancy is about mathematical optimisation. A background in Computer Science may be beneficial.

Ideal Requirements for the Senior Software Engineer – Algorithmics Vacancy:

Several years of solid experience in algorithm design and software development

Interest in logistics and good ideas for mapping processes in software

Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers on an equal footing

Completed technical degree, ideally in computer science, or equivalent work experience

German spoken and written and very good knowledge of English

Knowledge and experience in the following areas would be nice to have:

• Java and/or C#

• Cloud computing environments such as AWS, Azure

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Frameworks like Spring Boot, OptaPlanner

• Geospatial
