Senior Software Engineer (Java) – FinTech Scale-up – Hyrbid working model – London – 100k-120k

I’m working with a dynamic SaaS scale-up that provides a suite of cutting-edge financial technology applications utilised by banks, trading firms, and investment managers.

They are currently expanding their engineering team and seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design and development of their flagship product, a data-driven investment platform.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in a heavily data-intensive environment to architect and construct robust ingestion and transformation systems.
• Primarily focus on backend engineering tasks within a JVM environment.
• Work as a valuable member of a small, high-performing agile team to deliver high-quality features quickly.

Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of commercial engineering experience, with Java & Groovy
• Hold a relevant University Degree, ideally in Computer Science.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in SQL, ETL, or data-intensive systems, which would be highly advantageous.
