Our client provides their client base with a customizable, scalable, and responsive robotic fulfilment system that consists of cutting-edge software, specialised robots, and user-friendly workstations.

They are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to support the continued innovation of the company’s AMR products.

Their goal is to streamline warehouse operations by utilising their robotic logistics solution, supported by the company’s state-of-the-art cloud software.

They believe that for their clients to be successful in their market, order fulfilment and logistics need to adapt to technology to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join the R&D Team and work on the challenging complex multi-disciplinary system that involves software engineering, algorithms, real-world electrical and mechanical interfaces.

Your expertise in robotics software will contribute to the success of our innovative solutions and help our clients achieve their automation goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create robust autonomous navigation under stringent timing constraints, provide expertise and execute solutions in state estimation methods, SLAM, motion planning, and robotic vision.
  • Incorporate and participate in implementing solutions for the robot fleet in addition to evaluating practical implications through data analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Cloud Algorithm development team to convert the capabilities and behaviours of individual robots to the fleet as a whole.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ of industry experience, or comparable skills.
  • Developed experience working with SLAM and Motion Planning algorithms.
  • Strong coding expertise in Python and C++ in a Linux environment.
  • Experience designing and developing robotic systems using robotic middleware (such as ROS).
  • Understand how to convert publications to real-world implementations.
