Opportunity to permanently join one of Europe’s leading Artificial Intelligence tech consultancies as a Senior Data Scientist. The client is working with significant institutes across the public & private sectors.

Now at 150 full-time employees in less than ten years. They’ve recently secured an additional THIRTY MILLION POUNDS investment and are expanding.

The Role:

As a Senior Data Scientist, your role will revolve around designing and developing their data science approach and software architecture and ensuring its optimization across all project teams.

What will you do?

• Contribute directly to the code base of projects, with a specific focus on components with a higher degree of difficulty
• Serve as a guide for defining the scope of future projects, focused on technical practicality.
• Support the development and growth of your teammates by mentoring a smaller group of data scientists

Essential Skills/ Experience:

It would be great if you have experience with most of the following, but you’re not expected to have everything;

• Mid to Senior experience as a Data Scientist
• Strong programming skills, PYTHON
• Familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas or Scikit-Learn
• Familiarity with deep-learning frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch or Caffe
• A high level of competence in mathematics and statistics
• A solid grasp of standard data science techniques, including supervised/unsupervised ML, model cross-validation, Bayesian inference, time-series analysis, simple NLP, SQL database querying, and using or writing APIs for models
• Ability to develop new algorithms when an innovative solution is needed
