About the Senior C#/Java Software Engineer with a focus on Algorithms Vacancy:

As a member of one of currently four agile development teams, you will implement sophisticated optimization solutions – from conception to productization.

You work closely with the product owner, customers and the experts in your team together, determine technical requirements and plan and implement the implementation in the team.

You develop backend services and integrations on a modern cloud-based development infrastructure.

This vacancy is about C#/Java Development while applying algorithmic/mathematical optimisation theory.

A background in Mathematics/Computer Science at the university level may be beneficial.

Ideal Requirements for Senior C#/Java Software Engineer with focus on Algorithms Vacancy:

Several years of solid experience in software development in C# and Java

Interest in logistics and good ideas for mapping processes in software

Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers on an equal footing

Completed technical degree, ideally in computer science, or equivalent work experience

German spoken and written and very good knowledge of English

Ideally would like a Software Engineer with a background in Algorithms/Optimization/Mathematics/Computer Science at the university level.

However, this is not a strict requirement.

Knowledge and experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

• C# and/or Java

• Cloud computing environments such as AWS, Azure

• Frameworks like Spring Boot, OptaPlanner

• Geoinformatics

You do not need all of the above to be a good match, just a strong background in C#/Java in general.
