Senior Business Intelligence Developer – Leading Financial Investment Platform – Qlik/Power BI & Alteryx – to £95,000 + Benefits

Our global, financial services, trading client now requires an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer working within their core, Data Services team in London.

As Senior BI Developer, you will play a key part within the Data Services team which includes Enterprise Data Management, Data Solutions and MI/Business Intelligence projects across the entire business.

As a senior member of the team you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines/workflows, data transformation and aggregation, Business/Management dashboards and reports and data models to be used as part of solutions to internal and external customers.

As a senior member of the team you’ll be:

• Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines/workflows as well as managing transformation, dashboards, reports and models for external & internal customers
• Working closely with multiple stakeholders gathering and understanding their needs/requirements
• Analysing complex data from a variety of sources e.g. APIs, SQL queries
• Providing expertise to the support & optimisation of Alteryx servers as well as giving input & best practice to end users
• Working on projects surrounding: Data Visualisation, ETL and regulatory reporting

Essential Experience:

• Expert knowledge in areas surrounding Business Intelligence, Data Analytics & Business Management tools
• Data visualisation tools such as Qlik, Power BI or similar
• Data processing & transformation tools e.g. Alteryx

Additional Experience:

• AWS infrastructure knowledge/understanding
• Advanced SQL and Excel
• Knowledge/experience working in Financial Services
• Proven experience with stakeholder management as well as a client focused mindset
• Knowledge of one scripting language is desirable e.g. Python, R
• Proficiency with APIs, REST
