Role Summary 💻

As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be involved in the end-to-end build of AWS platforms. These builds will involve greenfield deployments, migrations, container/Microservice deployments and the development of CI/CD infrastructure from scratch.

Key responsibilities 🔑

• Deliver architecture design, infrastructure design, build and deployment activities.
• Develop cloud-native platforms, container orchestration platforms, microservice and serverless architectures in AWS.
• Advise on appropriate DevOps strategies and tool selection.
• Migration of on-premise infrastructure to AWS.

Experience required 📜 (it’s not necessary to have experience with all of the technologies listed)

• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure services: EKS, EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, API Gateway
• Containerisation: Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Istio, OpenShift
• DevOps tools: Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCI, Bitbucket, Github/Gitlab, DevSecOps pipelines, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Deployment Manager, Spinnaker, Octopus, Bamboo
• Development/scripting experience: Python, Scala, Node.js, Golang
