A leading multi-cloud partner with a high-performing security function is growing its team with Security Engineers who are interested in working on GCP-based projects in the InsurTech and FinTech sectors.

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be part of a wider team building secure GCP infrastructure from scratch and advising immature security teams on industry best practices.

This team will offer a hybrid role with expectations of 2 days a week in the Manchester or London office.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and build secure GCP-based solutions for enterprise customers and scale-ups in the FS and Insurance sectors
• Work in transparent, high ownership and collaborative agile environment
• Identify emerging security technologies and advise clients on how this could benefit their current technology infrastructure
• Mentor junior engineers

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in the field of security
• Passionate about the potential of the cloud, in particular, Google Cloud
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and best practices
• Comfortable leading client engagements
