About the SAP EWM Architecture Team Lead Role:

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.

As SAP EWP Architecture Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Driving the technical direction of the key SAP EWM Platform within a Logistics setting

• You will have Leadership of the SAP EWM Delivery and you will be expected to lead a team of up to 25 SAP Professional

• Key for this position is the ability to support the Agile transformation of the solution delivery team according to their Agile transformation strategy

• Experience moving from Waterfall to Agile technologies is beneficial

• Change leadership in Digital Architecture & SAP framework activities

• Driving the development and implementation of the SAP Platform

• Ensure consistent tools and processes for an efficient Agile approach

• Transparently report roadmaps, progress, and statistics on the Agile transformation

• Engage with the Agile transformation team

• Continuously analyze processes and efficiency, and develop measures for improvements

• Engaging with non-technical internal stakeholders and Business Analysts to understand needs and convert them into technical solutions

• Proposing portfolio backlog items that will drive increased business value through technology changes

Ideal Requirements for this Role:

• University degree in the field of IT management or comparable education

• Several years’ of leadership experience with international teams in different locations

• Professional leader with strong motivation and coaching/mentoring skills

• Experienced in people involvement and change management esp. towards agile organizations

• Strong customer orientation, entrepreneurial, and strategic thinking

• Strong and assertive communication skills

• Self-reliant, flexible, able to work under pressure

• Knowledge in the logistics industry and specially in contract logistics

• Knowledge of SAP WM/ EWM, S/Hana is required

• Proven project management and delivery skills

• Fluent written and spoken business English (mandatory) and German (nice-to-have)
