They provide post-trade services to stock and derivatives exchanges, multilateral trading facilities (MTFs), and OTC equities trades, with offices based in Amsterdam and London.

Role Overview:

As part of a new product launch scheduled for 2024, our client is seeking a Risk Architect to lead the risk management workstream, in collaboration with stakeholders from product management, operations, technology, and commercial developments.

The risk architect will work closely with the risk oversight and quantitative risk teams to drive the design and execution of the risk management processes that underpin the product.

Skills and experience required:

• Previous experience in leading risk management projects across regulatory change, new product launches, system development, and organisational design.
• Financial markets experience from a risk management, trading, or operations background.
• Experience in liaising with operations and risk management stakeholders to implement new systems.
• A project management background, including project coordination, requirements gathering and project risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of UK and European financial services regulations concerning the clearing industry.
