Power BI Developer – Permanent Opportunity – £55,000 + Bonus & Benefits

We are working with a reputable Financial Services company looking to bring in an Associate Level Power BI Developer. You’ll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining BI Solutions for the organisation. This role will require working closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and ensure data accuracy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a few years of experience who wants to advance their career in analytics and further their personal growth.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering, collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs.
• Data Modelling, Design and develop data models and transformations to support reporting and visualization needs.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Ensure data visualisation best practices and user-friendly design.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards.

Experience & Skills

• Experience of working in BI or Reporting Roles (preferably financial services)
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and DAX.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of SQL and data querying.
• Excellent data visualisation and report design skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
