Onboarding and Implementation Consultant | Start-up Consultancy | £35,000 – £55,000 | Hybrid

A start up Consultancy is looking for a consultant to join their growing team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply and improve your skills and experience in finance, technology, and operations to support the business needs and initiatives of our clients and help them achieve their goals.

The Role:

Supporting their regulatory reporting practice, the position requires a sound understanding of client implementation and onboarding for market infrastructure services, strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and the confidence to interact across a range of team members.

You will work with clients who are leading providers of regulatory reporting and business intelligence solutions for the financial services industry, collaborating with the industry to anticipate and prepare for changing regulatory requirements. You will benefit from experience in EMIR, MIFID and SFTR transaction reporting regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, Finance, or related field
• 2-3 years of minimum experience in an Implementation or Onboarding role
• Knowledge of the Regulatory landscape, obligations and their impact on Operations
• Understanding of OTC derivatives, clearing/post trade and reporting of these transactions
• Exposure to SQL, DB, Object-oriented languages (general technology know-how) is favoured
• Understanding of FPML, XML Schemas, DTDs, XSL Transformation style sheets
• Strong social, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Preference towards additional continental Europe language (Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Italian, French, German, Swedish
