Network Engineer | Leading Data Centre Solutions Provider | €25 – 35k | Based in Amsterdam

Field Network Engineer Needed

This client is a leading Data Centre Solutions Provider that operates globally across a wide variety of sectors. They are looking for Network Engineers who have worked with a variety of vendor networks (F5, Fortinet, Brocade, etc.) to join their high-performing team.

You will focus primarily on installing network products and troubleshooting issues; a detailed knowledge of Cisco networking systems and protocols would be ideal. You will have the chance to work closely with team members within the region as well as the Field Service Manager, offering considerable opportunities to grow and learn from those around you.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Configuring and installing software, hardware, systems, and networks.
  • Network maintenance and system upgrades.
  • Configuring and installing various network devices and services.
  • End-user interaction in Data Centres.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Network/Security Engineer.
  • CCNA, CCNP or equivalent certification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Cisco networking systems and protocols.
  • Functional knowledge of Cisco, F5, Brocade, and Fortinet.
  • Understanding of WAN, LAN, and WI-FI concepts/technologies.
  • Previous experience in a Data Centre environment.
