In one of the largest cyber security specialist consulting practices in the UK, you will aid clients in becoming more resilient to cyber security threats. With a team of 250+, increasingly complex cyber security risks have caused this practice to experience significant growth, as clients’ digital futures become essential to their growth.

The Role

You will be part of the advisory team in the Cyber Security practice.

In the advisory team in the Cyber Security practice, you will be mainly focused on improving clients’ cyber security capabilities against multi-year transformational. You will use Microsoft tech to work hands-on with clients, designing and implementing security improvements.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement cloud security controls using Microsoft-native cyber security tech.
• Lead DevSecOps initiatives, working with internal and client development teams.
• Advise on and optimise clients’ current security tools.
• Reduce security vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses.
• Provide tech support throughout the delivery lifecycle, including consultancy to stakeholders.
• Build automation scripts and documentation necessary for the security operations team to take action.
• Define and implement security standards and best practices.

Requirements

• A broad range of Microsoft skills – a specific interest too!
• Function well in a team and individually.
• Experience in a similar, client-facing role with exposure to a wide range of audiences.
• Confidence in working hands-on and a good aptitude for tech.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technically complex topics in a more digestible manner.
• Microsoft Sentinel and a good understanding of KQL or good developer skills.
• M365 Threat Protection tech
• Azure Security Tech
