About the Linux Engineer Role:

As a Linux Engineer, you will be supporting all areas involving the business’ HPC code and infrastructure, helping to develop one of the world’s largest private computing clusters.

You will be creating software that operates on complex compute clusters (Contain 10,000+ GPUs, 100,000+ CPU cores, and 1PB of memory).

You will be joining an environment where changes are made frequently and rapidly as these changes can have a significant influence on the quantitative research function at the business’ core.

Ideal Requirements for this Role:

• Developed coding experience, particularly with recent exposure to Python and at least one statically typed language.

• Experience working with computer networks

• Design, configure, monitor and automate methods for reducing loss and congestion, understanding the underlying hardware, IP/Ethernet and host tuning.

• Create original solutions to challenging problems.

• Knowledge of one or more machine learning frameworks and compute offload devices like GPUs.
