Lead Java Developer
Location: New York (Hybrid)

Contract
A nationally recognized transportation services company is seeking a Lead Java Developer to drive design and development of their core CRM platform and align with other stakeholders on business strategy and product roadmaps. This can be a full time position that develops into a formal Manager position, or a long term contract based hybrid out of White Plains, NY.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leading the design, development and quality of internal and external-facing applications
- Leveraging AWS infrastructure as well as integrated on-prem systems and databases
- Partnering with cross-functional leaders to establish strategies and roadmaps aligning with business priorities
- Collaborate with peers across the organization, sharing knowledge and solutions
Qualifications:
- 8+ years’ experience in Java software development
- Experience leading a team of 3+ software developers
- Experience designing large-scale, highly available, mission-critical systems.
- Strong experience with microservices
- Strong experience in SQL and data modeling
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with software development methodologies like Agile
