About
One of the largest technology companies in the Defence and Aerospace sector is currently looking for an experienced API management lead to join their team.
Location
Remote – with 1 day a month to the Exeter site
The role
You will work closely with the solution architect to lead the team in designing and implementing technical solutions for the API management team.
Responsibility
- Developing and extending python-based AWS Lambda APIs
- Building new Java classes
- Design and deliver product features
- Provide technical advice to internal users of the system
Requirements
- Experience implementing REST APIs using API management solutions. E.g. WSO2, Apigee
- Proficient in Java and Python
- Experience in building unit tests with JUnit and mocking frameworks e.g. Mockito
- Knowledge of AWS (including Lambda, EC2, VPC and AWS CodePipeline )
Bonus points
- Development experience using Spring and Spring Boot
- Development experience using JavaScript
- Knowledge of Maven
- Knowledge of Linux shell scripts
- Experience with git/GitHub and the Atlassian toolset
