About the Lead AWS Solution Architect Role

The Lead AWS Solutions Architect would direct projects and collaborate with the Engineering team. The company are now looking to develop their delivery capabilities rapidly and is looking for an individual with AWS experience to present solutions to clients. Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Delivery: You will be involved in all aspects of the sales and delivery cycle, from presales to transition to operations. This will include creating both high and low-level designs for client projects as well as providing a degree of hands-on delivery with clients.

• Technical Leadership and Cloud Evangelist: Provides overall leadership for the technical solution and management oversight for client engagements.

• Engagement Management: Lead client engagements, manage stakeholder relationships and identify business needs, problems and solutions

• Help win new business: Have supported sales teams to win new work, through client workshops, contributing to bid documents or identifying new opportunities.

 

Ideal Requirements for This Role

• Experienced in all aspects of Solution Architecture: Advising, architecting and delivering the full life cycle required to reshape an organisation through AWS Cloud

• Deep understanding of AWS Cloud and how this can create change within an organisation

• Familiar with AWS Landing zones, AWS Migration, building new cloud-native applications on AWS

• Hands-on experience with AWS, automation tech (Terraform), migration tools

• Senior-level experience in I.T. (Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Databases, COTS)

• Knowledge of containers (K8s, EKS, ECS)

• AWS Certifications
