Java Developer – Trading Platform – £65,000-£110,000 – Hybrid Working

One of London’s premier Financial Services companies is looking for Java Developers to build out their new trading platform.

In this role you will act as high-level decision influencer in the process of determining everything from design choices to technical standards, such as platforms, coding standards and tools.

You will:

• Implement test or process automation, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as required and support the team in implementing best practices
• Liaise with other members of a cross-functional team designing and developing software systems and applications
• Work within a strong engineering culture that promotes ample autonomy and responsibility.
• Provide a robust framework for the development of their platform resulting in high-level solutions.

Your Experience:

• Proficient in Java – 2+ years (knowledge of Kafka is advantageous).
• Previous exposure to working in the Financial/Trading sector is beneficial.
• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
