Role Summary 💻

You will be in charge of overseeing the demand for IT services and applications within the APAC region. You will work closely with Solution Architects to develop solution proposals. You will also assist in the development and definition of IT strategies for WMS. This role also involves collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritise their needs. You will make sure that the IT services are provided at a high standard, in accordance with business requirements, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities 🔑

  • Work closely with internal/external stakeholders to understand their requirements for IT services and applications, and prioritize them based on business value and feasibility.
  • Manage the IT demand process, ensuring that all requests are captured, assessed, and approved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure that solutions are designed, developed, and delivered in line with business requirements, within budget and on time.
  • Ensure that IT services and applications are aligned with the overall logistics strategy and support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring that they deliver high-quality services and solutions that meet business needs.
  • Monitor and report on IT demand metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders on the use of IT services and applications, ensuring that they are used effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure that IT demand processes and procedures are documented and adhered to, and that all stakeholders are aware of their roles and responsibilities.

Experience required 🧠

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in IT demand management, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to understand and prioritize their requirements.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience working with external vendors and service providers.
  • Experience with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
