About the IoT/Cloud Architect Position:

• Conception and implementation of new topics in our new Azure-based cloud infrastructure

• Analysis, design and creation of specifications and documentation of the solution architecture

• Responsibility for the solution architecture and integration into the system landscape

• Active and ongoing consulting role in the product teams

• Technical responsibility for the platform team as well as maintenance and further development of

the cloud platform

• Analysis of technical feasibility with regard to future requirements and technologies

 

Ideal Requirements for the IoT/Cloud Architect Role:

• Several years of relevant professional experience in the cloud sector (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, especially with Terraform (and Ansible, Chef,

Puppet)

• Experience in implementing DevOps, automation and deployment processes (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, gitops, chatops, CI/CD)

• Several years of previous experience in application development in one or more of the following platforms: Java, Kotlin – JVM; JavaScript, Typescript – Node.js; Go; Python; Rust or similar

• Knowledge of IT security methods, scaling, architectural patterns (microservices, serverless, cloud

native, 12 factor apps, MACH, etc.)

• Experience in operating Kubernetes based solutions (AKS, EKS, Helm, Kustomize)

• Solution-oriented attitude

• Interest in new developments and cloud trends

• Experienced handling of agile development principles

• Personal responsibility, flexibility, initiative
