Role Overview

To provide guidance and implementation expertise in setting up new funds, segregated mandates and other investment vehicles from an operations perspective. Provide backup and interim management of the Fund Admin team when and if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for our fund managers, fund administrators and trustees.
• Provide technical knowledge, input and operating model technical advice to help guide and implement the redesign of the fund range.
• Oversee and provide technical knowledge and advice to the Fund Admin team and elements of any project work and be responsible for the compilation and implementation of process & system improvements.
• Provide guidance and management to any dedicated operations and Fund Admin team being utilised for Fund launches.
• Be responsible for the operations of the funds, including the launch of further funds and products or services.

Experience, Skills & Competencies Required

• Experience in setting up and managing funds, segregated mandates and other investment vehicles as well as automating manual processes.
• Extensive experience in Financial Services – preferably wealth or asset management.
• Previous experience in fund processing, operations, pricing, oversight and/or derivatives.
• Experience in middle/back-office NAV oversight, reconciliation, matching, settlement, different valuation and pricing points.
• Experience of oversight of outsourced middle and back offices.
• Experience of multiple currencies, markets and indices.
