Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Salary: £200,000/yr - £300,000/yr

Head of Trading Technology, Commodities – £200,000 – £300,000 total comp – London HQ

In this position, you will work closely with the CTO, founders, and key stakeholders within the business where you will collaborate to build new tools and trading platforms for the quants/traders to use.

  • Python, Django, AWS/GCP, React, TypeScript & more

Role details

  • Directly managing 2 engineering managers and indirectly managing 8-10 software engineers
  • Drive the technical direction/strategy for the business, working closely with the product and software teams
  • Manage multiple products and systems ensuring everything is running successfully and identifying any issues that need resolving
  • Continuously looking to improve the performance, scalability, and efficiency of the current platform
  • Support with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for future hires

Desired experience

  • Experience working as a Director of Engineering, VP of Engineering, Engineering Manager or similar where you were managing teams of 8+ engineers
  • Front office trading experience is a MUST!
  • Strong track record of making a positive impact across an engineering division
  • Hands-on experience working with Python and any FE language

Package/WFH policy

  • Total compensation paying between £200,000 – £300,000 (DOE) inc. bonuses
  • This role is office based and you are expected to be in the London HQ 3-5x days per week
