GCP Cloud Engineer – £80k-£90k base + bonus and benefits – Hybrid-working

Our client, a leading global Cloud Partner, are looking for a GCP Cloud Engineer to join their London team. They operate using cutting-edge technology to drive the digital transformation of the worlds’ leading financial institutions. The role will be within the cloud practice and will provide the opportunity to work on projects on any of the 3 vendors cloud platforms.

 

About the GCP Engineer Role:

With a focus on GCP, the successful candidates will take a leading role in designing, developing, testing and implementing exciting, bleeding-edge GCP solutions that the industry is still catching up to.

The GCP Engineers will be responsible for leading the design and architecture process from start to finish, specifying and conveying custom code and testing completed solutions.

You will deliver high quality, efficient solutions to fulfil customers’ functional, non-functional and regulatory requirements, and will assist in the training of end users and system administrators.

 

Technical Requirements:

• DevOps background/experience.
• Strong GCP experience.
• Experience with configuration management tools and infrastructure as code.
• Scripting ability (ideally Python or Powershell).
• Experience with automation and system orchestration.

· CI/CD experience with Jenkins/TeamCity/CircleCI
