Experienced GCP Cloud Architect with hands on delivery background needed.

This company, who are driving the digital transformation of the world’s leading financial institutions, are currently seeking a GCP Cloud Architect to join their product engineering team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with project delivery leads and cloud engineers deliver effect, high-quality solutions for customers.
• Identify opportunities to drive sales within client sites.
• Define and implement cloud offerings.
• Collaborate with the design and delivery teams to guide them through the delivery process.

Required Skills:

• Experience designing cloud native architecture.
• Ability to articulate technical designs and justification of decisions.
• Architecture certifications in at least 1 major cloud provider.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, PowerShell, Python.
• Demonstrable experience with architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF.
• Up to date technical skills with cloud knowledge covering infrastructure, security, HA/DR, Logging and Monitoring, CI/CD.
• Previous documentation experience producing HLDs, LLDs, and supporting operations guides.
• Strategic thinker who has also engaged in stakeholder management.
