The Role

You will be joining the rapidly expanding Hybrid Cloud security Consulting and Delivery Team, leading cloud security engineering teams to deliver cloud security solutions to clients. Not only will you provide technical guidance on cloud security architecture, but also advise on engineering best practices. You will be working mostly with GCP, so should be willing to become certified!

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead cloud security engineering teams by providing thought leadership to steer solution design to deliver hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions on client engagements and internal projects.
  • Author technical blogs, articles and whitepapers, as well as opinion pieces.
  • Mentor junior engineers and peers.
  • Promote services and identify client opportunities.
  • Assist with the recruitment process for the team.
  • Evaluate the suitability of emerging security technologies for clients.
  • Balance technical implementation with the commercial schedule.
  • Manage and develop stakeholder relationships.
  • Prepare client RFP/RFI responses and client proposals.
  • Deliver presentations, workshops and demos of the company’s offerings at large events.
  • Expand deep cloud knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

  • Certified in at least one cloud platform – GCP/AWS/Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of modern application architectures and cloud platforms.
  • Applied knowledge of securing cloud foundation services.
  • Experience architecting and enabling cloud security services for hybrid cloud environments.
  • A strong sense of ownership of visions for solutions, effective communication skills and ability to handle uncertainty.
  • Practical knowledge of container and Kubernetes security and a good understanding of multi-tenant architectures using service mesh.
  • Applied knowledge of advanced security products for threat detection and intelligence, cloud workload protection and SIEM integration.
  • Practical knowledge of DevSecOps principles and automated security testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of adversary and intrusion techniques and threat modelling.
  • Experience implementing cloud-native secret management and encryption engine solutions
  • Applied knowledge of assessing and improving cloud resources using cloud vendors and neutral security frameworks.
