About the Field Service Engineer role
The company are now looking to rapidly develop their delivery capabilities in the Dutch market and are looking for an individual with a broad skillset to engage with their rapidly growing client base. As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
· Provide End-to-end solutions for clients: You will be involved in all aspects of solution delivery, from full installation of new systems to the maintenance and repair of data centre equipment. This will involve managing client expectations to ensure that issues have been resolved.
· Offer on-call services to ensure system upkeep: You will need to perform regular site audits and surveys to ensure that equipment and features match the client’s expectations with heavily compensated on-call visits.
· Foster relationships: Utilise expertise and integrity to ensure solution implementation increases client satisfaction, savings and profits
Ideal Requirements for This Role
· Experience with IBM is essential for candidates. Any experience with HP, Cisco, Sun, Dell and Juniper is also considered highly desirable
· Fluency in Dutch and English (To a professional level)
· Able to work closely with technical support on new products as well as supporting product integration
· Good communicator, both with internal teams and customer base
· Be able to transfer knowledge and identify improvements when maintaining solutions
