About the Enterprise Architect opportunity
As part of the new Architecture function, you will play a significant role in helping the IT function’s strategic goals in the business application and data areas.
You will play a crucial role in the newly created Architecture function as you are required to make sure that the entire application and data architecture is maintained coherently and that suitable considerations are made for its security and quality.
You will play a significant role in advancing the business application and data domain strategic goals of the IT department.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be flexible and manage complexity, cost, and business requirements.
By offering solutions that reduce owner risk, you will also help the company run more efficiently.
You will implement the creation of technical roadmaps in addition to developing the target architecture, decommission legacy applications, and move more toward the target application portfolio.
You will help to create, design, and evaluate technical, application, and organisational architectures in accordance with the principles of IT architecture.
You will examine potential solutions to see whether they adhere to the company’s guiding principles.
When it comes to strategic architectural concepts, you will also participate in the decision-making process.
Responsibilities
Ideal Requirements for this Role:
· Extensive experience working in IT Architecture
· TOGAF qualified
· Successfully provided architecture services to teams using waterfall and agile working methods
· Outstanding technical proficiency in the fields of application, data, and business architecture
· Open to travel
· Collaborative personality
· Strong stakeholder management experience
