Job Summary:

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and deployment of our company’s technology solutions. You will also be responsible for the recruitment and structure of the engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of our company’s technology solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support as needed
• Develop and implement best practices for software development and project management
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development processes
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the industry

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in Software Development preferably working with Frontend
• Experience or ambition in Leadership and managing tech teams
• Marketplace or Ecommerce experience is a must
• Experience with a variety of programming languages and development frameworks
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
