About the DevOps Engineer (with Java) Vacancy:

With a need for DevOps Engineers – this company are looking for experienced professionals with excellent understanding in the Java space.

Holistic further development of their complex software/system architecture of the B2B online shop would be your main responsibility.

Conception, monitoring and optimization of processes and tools in the areas of automation, testing and deployment.

Further development and selection of suitable technologies and definition of architectures for their commerce framework and infrastructure

Accompanying and strengthening the awareness and knowledge of operational and architectural issues with all involved teams of the company

Ideal Requirements for this Role:

Several years of or well-founded professional experience in the field of DevOps, especially in the construction and operation of CI and CD pipelines with Jenkins as well as well-founded knowledge of Unix environments and scripting languages

Knowledge of modern software development and automation, ideally with Ansible

Experience in the further development and operation of complex software/system architectures, ideally experience in the fields of Java, git, Docker, infrastructure (Proxmox), databases (MySQL)

Independent work, pair programming, code reviews and learning together in a team

Fluency in English, German is nice-to-have
