Orbis has partnered with a highly ambitious Cyber Security provider experiencing hyper growth and keen on introducing Security Engineers into their established team.

This is an opportunity to provide a service across a variety of different sectors including energy, transport, finance; making them a growing and leading Cyber force in the UK.

Some Responsibilities of the role:

• In house security systems, development of IT security strategies + implementations to increase security of application and services
• Managing business response in event of cyber-attack incident
• Working on integrity of back-ups, anti-virus systems and next gen firewalls
• Work with vendors
• Maintaining and supporting achievement of recognized security certification including cyber essential, ISO27001
• Developing strategies for logging/monitoring security related events including SIEM

 

Tools/Skills and Past experiences:

• Industry recognised Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISMP, CCSP, SSCP)
• Security policies, cloud security including AWS/Azure
• Preventing network/ security threats
• Vulnerability Scanning, Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE)
• Network security tech exposure
• Web related technologies
• Understanding of TCP/IP suite
• SIEMS, firewalls, DLP
