Company and Team Overview

One of the world’s largest independent financial advisory groups, with a team of 3,800 talented financial services specialists on the ground in 40 countries across the world, providing independent advice on M&A, strategy, equity and debt financing, as well as investment and wealth management solutions to large institutions, families, individuals, and governments.

This close-knit team works directly with the firm’s Global Advisory (GA) business, reporting to the Assistant Director. Accuracy and continuous improvement are at the heart of what the team does, with this mindset being congruous with the importance of its role within the organisation.

Role Overview

Ensuring immaculate data quality and integrity for the global Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool. Your role includes providing extensive administrative support, and meticulously handling and maintaining project data in the CRM system.

Responsibilities

  • Follow daily, monthly, and quarterly data cleansing exercises outlined in our Data Maintenance Strategy, completing set tasks such as de-duplication, merging, etc.
  • Address data inconsistencies with Outlook tracking to CRM.
  • Where necessary, consult and validate with assistants to agree definitive entries; arbitrate and resolve disputes if necessary (with guidance from the GA Systems Lead).
  • Work closely with co-CRM Data Administrators and GA Systems Lead in the various iterations of data analysis and design improvements to set tasks to realise efficiencies.
  • Continually review and improve data rules to support the integrity of CRM, and update Data Strategy documentation as required.
  • Match records with FactSet where appropriate to build connections with people and companies that we know.

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

  • Exposure to, and an understanding of, business applications and databases.
  • Experience with (or at the very least some exposure to) online data feeds (e.g., FactSet).
  • MS Office skills such as Excel and Access; SQL would be a bonus.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be a bonus but not essential.
  • Confident, intrinsically motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Attention to detail, with common sense and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.

This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic graduate to get into the financial services industry with significant exposure to talented professionals at one of the biggest brand names out there.
