Company and Role Overview

We’re collaborating with a major global financial services firm to expand their Execution Managed Services capabilities to provide an expanded ‘Compliance as a Service’ offering to its financial services clients.

This combines their regulatory expertise with leading technology solutions to create managed service capabilities which help Financial Services clients transform the way they identify, manage and monitor compliance risk.

This is a newly created position in a new team. We are searching for an experienced technology expert to join the Compliance as a Service Leadership team and drive the design and implementation of three new compliance-managed services.

You’ll be:

  • Assisting in the identification of a preferred technology provider for each CMS, collaborating with Technology colleagues to agree on a preferred supplier (or an in-house solution).
  • Leading the technology vendor due diligence processes, as well as completing the necessary technology risk and finance approval processes.
  • Leading technology interactions with vendor technology leads to determine technology requirements.
  • Providing advice on the technical systems infrastructure requirements to integrate vendor technologies into each client’s technology infrastructure.
  • Managing the day-to-day functioning of the technology platforms and leading all technical interactions with the vendor.

You’ll have:

  • Expertise in a regulatory technology deployment / operational function, either within a financial services organisation performing a comparable role selecting suppliers and then delivering the technology, or within a technology vendor company in a client-facing / system deployment type role.
  • Practical expertise with compliance-related technology and technical IT capabilities.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset and the communication skills to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • The desire to be hands-on.
