The Role

You will be joining the rapidly expanding Hybrid Cloud security Consulting and Delivery Team, leading cloud security engineering teams to deliver cloud security solutions to clients. Not only will you provide technical guidance on cloud security architecture, but also advise on engineering best practices. You will be working mostly with GCP, so should be willing to become certified!

Main Responsibilities

• Join cloud security engineering teams as a cloud security SME.
• Provide recommendations on client engagements and internal projects.
• Assist with the publishing of technical blogs, articles and whitepapers, as well as opinion pieces.
• Mentor junior engineers and peers.
• Promote services and identify client opportunities.
• Manage and develop stakeholder relationships.
• Assist with presentations, workshops and demos of the company’s offerings at large events.
• Expand deep cloud knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

• Currently, an AWS, Azure or GCP expert – 70% of work Is GCP so must be willing to certify to GCP Professional level.
• Platform-neutral broad-based understanding of cloud security, audit and risk.
• A strong sense of ownership of visions for solutions, effective communication skills and ability to handle uncertainty.
• Experience assessing and improving cloud resources following cloud vendor and neutral security guidance.
• Experience with frameworks for modelling adverse behaviour.
• Applied knowledge of DevSecOps principles and automated security testing.
• Practical knowledge securing cloud foundational services.
• Applied knowledge of container, Kubernetes and service mesh security.
• Experience implementing cloud-native secret management and encryption engine solutions, key management, PKI and workload identity.
