About the Cloud Native (AWS preferred)/Serverless Developer Position:

The company offers many digital services. As a software developer with a focus on the AWS Cloud Back-End, you and the software team are one of the main designers in the areas of digitization and IoT.

  • You develop innovative IoT solutions in AWS based on serverless and cloud-native technologies provided by CloudFormation (CDK), Terraform and Helm
  • You develop new microservices and design interfaces such as web APIs and connect our edge solutions to the cloud
  • You write and link AWS Lambdas and determine / trade-off between solution architectures
  • You support the software development team at PoCs in all phases of collecting, transmitting, and storing sensor signals by either actively helping to develop them or by providing advice
  • You support the deployment of our software and are entrusted with release strategies such as blue-green, canary and A/B testing as well as feature toggles
  • You select and connect SaaS/Cloud database solutions, such as MongoDB Atlas or InfluxDB Cloud

Ideal Requirements for the Cloud Native (AWS preferred)/Serverless Developer Role:

 

· Completed studies in computer science or comparable training as well as initial experience in or great interest in mechanical engineering IoT solutions

· Experience in modern cloud infrastructure ideally based on AWS; an AWS certification at associate level would be desirable

· Confident use of script languages, especially Typescript

· Very good knowledge of interface technology, such as REST or GraphQL

· Knowledge of a backend framework, ideally in ASP.NET or Node.js

· Dealing with a DevOps platform (preferably Azure DevOps or GitHub) and CI/CD/CT

· SOLID, CleanCode and OOP are a matter of course

· Independent and structured work with the motivation to constantly improve your own solutions and to familiarize yourself with new technologies

· Team player with an agile mindset and fun to solve complex tasks

· Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
