This start-up has been around for over 10 years and has expanded its teams with amazing talent and experience. They are tier 2 ISP who design, implement, and manage their own solutions for national infrastructure, construction, and engineering sectors.

With only 50 employees, they have worked on major projects nationwide made possible by their team’s diverse background. In the last year, they have experienced a 25% growth in numbers and are looking to expand even further. They are currently looking to expand their cloud department with junior and senior Cloud Engineers.

About the Role:

Responsible for the cloud platform, you will work in the new SRE function and collaborate with our DevOps squads who are continually enhancing our SaaS platforms, you will get the chance to contribute to the direction of travel for cloud excellence. Collaboration is key within this function as you will be one of the few cloud specialists responsible for developing the company’s cloud solutions.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the solution meets its functional and non-functional requirements and the correct application of relevant technologies and services. You will need to ensure that these various components and sub-systems work together both technically as well as operationally.

You’ll be kept on your toes with the variety of work available and constantly developing and sharing your expertise whether as a junior or as a senior.

Ideal Applicant for This Role Would Have:

• Experience with cloud service providers – Ideally Azure
• Experience with cloud-based API management, Containers, Microservices & Data technologies
• Experience creating secure, resilient, and scalable cloud platforms
• Thorough working practices (SRE, DevSecOps, IaC) with high standards of work, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to implement cloud platform solutions
• Ability to work autonomously and remotely when required, and work collaboratively within a team with demonstrable team-player experience
• The ability to work within an agile environment employing SRE and DevOps ways of working
• Ability to simplify complex problems to more manageable tasks
