Client Support Consultant -Vice President – London – Hybrid

An impressive start-up consultancy that specialises in Operational Excellence, by leveraging a team of experienced practitioners to help organisations achieve strategic objectives, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction is looking for a Client Support Consultant to join their team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply and improve your skills and experience in finance, technology, and operations to support the business needs and initiatives of their clients and help them achieve their goals.

The Role:

As a Client Support Consultant, you will be primarily supporting their Regulatory Reporting practice. The position requires a sound understanding of either Customer Support for market infrastructure services, strong organisational skills, an eye for detail, and the confidence to interact across a range of team members. You will work with their clients who are leading providers of regulatory reporting and business intelligence solutions for the financial services industry, collaborating with the industry to anticipate and prepare for changing regulatory requirements. You will benefit from knowledge & experience in OTC Derivatives as well as EMIR, MIFID and SFTR transaction reporting regulations.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a client support role or similar customer facing position

• Strong social, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of the Regulatory Reporting regimes, such as EMIR, MIFID, SFTR

• Understanding of OTC derivatives, clearing and reporting of these transactions

• SQL, DB, Object-oriented language skills is favoured

• Understanding of FPML, XML Schemas, DTDs, XSL Transformation style sheets would be useful

• Aligned to our goals for inclusion, workplace, and social responsibility

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Preference towards additional continental Europe language (Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Italian, French, German, Swedish)

• Ability to prioritise in a fast moving, high-pressure, constantly evolving environment.
