Orbis is working with an exclusive global cybersecurity services provider who is looking to expand its Security Engineering team. Using your AWS expertise; you would be expected to improve clients’ security by designing and implementing security enhancements into their environments. This is a highly driven team that dedicates a group effort to assist its clients.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement cloud security controls through AWS-native cyber security technologies
• Advise and optimise clients existing security tools, e.g AWS inspector, GuardDuty and Shield, Macie
• Understanding how to reduce security vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses
• Lead on the DevSecOps initiatives
• Build documentation and automation scripts necessary for the security operations team to take appropriate actions
• Work with the Cloud Operations teams in the definition and implementation of security standards and best practices

Requirements

Candidates should show some level of competency in the following:

• AWS Security Hub
• Security Operations Services (AWS CloudTrail, Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Inspector)
• Networks Security Services (AWS firewall Manager, Network Security Groups, AWS Shield)
• Amazon Macie, AWS KMS, Lambda, AWS IAM
• Infrastructure Design and Management (AWS CloudFormation, Amazon Elastic Container)
• Service (ECS), AWS config
• Experience with Microsoft environments and certifications are of course a bonus!
