As one of the largest cyber security specialist consulting practices in the UK, you will help clients become more resilient to cyber security threats through strategy, risk, governance advice and deep technical implementation and assurance expertise. With already over 250 practitioners, this practice is experiencing significant growth due to increasingly complex cyber security risks, as clients’ digital futures become essential to their growth.

The Role

You will be part of the advisory team in the Cyber Security practice.

Mainly focused on delivering technical work to clients against multi-year transformational programmes to improve clients’ cyber security capabilities. You will use AWS tech to work hands-on with clients, designing and implementing security enhancements into their environments.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement cloud security controls using AWS-native cyber security tech.
• Lead DevSecOps initiatives to take an integrated approach to security by working with internal and client development teams.
• Advise on and optimise clients’ current security tools.
• Reduce security vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses despite the tech at hand.
• Provide tech support throughout the delivery lifecycle, including consultancy to stakeholders.
• Understand and share knowledge and learnings within engineering teams.
• Build automation scripts and documentation necessary for the security operations team to take action.
• Work within Cloud Operations teams to define and implement security standards and best practices.

Requirements

• A broad range of AWS skills – a specific interest too!
• Function well in a team and individually.
• Experience in a similar, client-facing role with a wide range of audiences.
• Confidence in working hands-on and a good aptitude for tech.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technically complex topics in a more digestible manner.
