The Role

Working as a senior/lead engineer, you will be based in London to work on long-term projects for some exciting clients. With training and certifications fully funded, opportunities for growth and learning are everywhere!

 

Main Responsibilities

• Advising clients on DevOps strategies for their individual business needs.
• Take the lead in proposing, implementing and evaluating DevOps tech solutions.
• Creating the roadmap and implementing DevOps in client organisations.
• Deliver and supervise architecture design, infrastructure design, build and deployment activities.
• Use industry standard methodologies to deliver high level designs which articulate complex tasks to business and technical teams e.g. UML process flow, sequence diagrams.
• Work with 3rd party and offshore development teams.

Main requirements

You should have some of these skills:

• You must have excellent knowledge of AWS services e.g., EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, API Gateway.
• Experience with at least AWS – potentially also GCP or Azure.
• Experience with containerisation technologies e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, OpenShift.
• Practical knowledge of at least one infrastructure provisioning technology – Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Some exposure in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment techniques, approaches and tools e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Concourse CI, Jenkins X, TeamCity, Artifactory
• Strong experience with Java or Python scripting.
