About the AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Technical Lead Position:

As an AEM Technical Lead, you will lead efforts for delivering and supporting world-class Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions and complex integrations into Adobe Experience Cloud applications.

Your work will consist of driving large scale implementations and working very closely with a large team by leading them in solution design and implementation. You will leverage your strong technical skills in developing scalable solutions.

They are looking for someone who can own the entire AEM product. And this will mean working closely with their external Adobe partner; building up expertise on AEM in-house; working closely with the offshore development team; and progressing the usage of AEM within the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business product owners and development partners to coach and consult on front-end technology solutions in general and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in particular
  • Lead in design discussions & business meetings
  • Follow & Contribute to the organizational best practices/policies
  • Apply industry standard Design Patterns and coding standards for web application development
  • Provide technology solutions that follow AEM recommendations
  • Develop high-quality front-end templates and reusable components in AEM
  • Work in an agile, rapid development, and prototyping environment

Ideal Requirements for AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Technical Lead Role:

  • Several years’ experience in software engineering
  • Demonstrable work experience in AEM implementation projects
  • Expertise in AEM – both on the Back-End and the Front-End
  • Ideally having some experience in a Technical Lead capacity
  • Experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Ajax, OSGI, JCR and Sling
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and building modern decoupled Single Page Application
  • Expertise with other modern front-end development frameworks, Angular know how a plus
  • Expertise to connect to backend-services available as REST or GraphQL-API and secured with OAuth
  • Experience in developing for Asset Management (DAM) Implementation and familiar with Adobe Analytics, Launch and Target
  • Experience developing AEM clientlibs and migrating HTML/JS/CSS into AEM
  • Experience with Junit and other testing frameworks in AEM
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven and Webpack
  • Basic knowledge of Azure
  • Excellent English language communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Bachelor’s degree or above would be preferrable
