About the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)/CMS Full-Stack Consultant Role:

 

Being part of the Professional Services function, you will be joining an impressive team of dedicated consultant who work with customers to define, execute and govern digital marketing strategies.

 

There is a need for an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)/CMS Full-Stack Consultant to join this team of roughly 8-10 consultants.

 

You will deliver high quality, efficient solutions to fulfil customers’ functional, non-functional and regulatory requirements, and will assist in the training of end users and system administrators.

 

A background in development/design would be useful too – being able to translate the backend coding into visually attractive interfaces for the customer will be vitally important.

 

You will manage stakeholders and understand the client’s business to ensure that the requirements are effectively gathered – demonstrating a full understanding of business processes aligned to business objectives.

 

What you will do:

 

• Acting as a Consultant, you will advise on the solution strategy, architecture and technical implementation for AEM/CMS engagements

 

• Being a customer-facing professional, you will work with C-Level Stakeholders and client teams to understand their requirements, define use cases, goals,

objectives and architecture to support the business needs

 

• Build system and application architectures to achieve defined digital experience and business needs.

 

• Engage and promote recommendations to senior client leadership teams

 

• Advise on solution design and planning for solutions in AEM

 

• Effectively analyse complex project issues, devise optimal solutions, and facilitate the recommendations to the Clients and Partners

 

• Ensure alignment between business strategies, information technology roadmap, and technical and tactical deployment teams

 

• Occasional to regular business travel in style

 

Ideal Requirements for This Role:

 

Technical Skills:

 

Java is important for this position

 

AEM experience would be ideal, but is not a must-have

 

Other CMS’s such as Sitecore and Trillium etc would suffice

 

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar

• Several years’ experience Java/J2EE, Sling Servlets, OSGi, JCR Queries, Core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Felix

• Mastery of core web technologies including XML, HTML5, HTL, client/server-side scripting, JavaScript, jQuery

• Deep knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, GraphQL, Unit Testing, GIT, agile methodologies, and software design patterns

• Dispatcher Configuration, Clustering, CRX repository, Workflows, Replication, and Performance management

• CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins

• Good conceptual understanding of modern frontend frameworks technology like React, Vue.js or Angular

• Forward-thinking in terms of knowledge of the latest web technologies trends

 

Consulting Skills:

 

Demonstrated ability to:

 

– Analyse and understand business problems.

– Model data and processes.

– Conduct workshops and training sessions.

– Plan and carry out system and user acceptance testing.

– Understand Cloud technologies.

 

• Excels in leading conversations with peer levels at customers and partners, including C-level audience.

• Masters risk management and handle challenging engagement situations in a proactive way.

• Be a role model teammate and support others.

• Self-organized professional who prioritizes your work schedule in a multi-engagement environment.

• Ability to involve other specialists in order to ensure success.

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in English, other European languages are a plus.
